Join poet Yvonne Reddick for a generative poetry workshop all about wildfire, wildlife, and survival. What does living through climate change mean to us? What does it mean to come together from different locations, and share our experiences? What have we already come through, and what environmental events are yet to arrive? In this online workshop, we will read poems by Sudeep Sen, Fiona Benson, Rishi Dastidar, Pascale Petit and others. We will think about climate change, climate justice, the future we want – and creative ways to get there.
This workshop will be facilitated by Dr Yvonne Reddick.
Yvonne Reddick is the author of Burning Season (Bloodaxe, 2023), which won the Laurel Prize for Best UK Collection of Ecopoetry. With the filmmaker Aleks Domanski, she made the documentary Searching for Snow Hares (2023).
