Climate Action: Day 4

Create a ‘Green Meal Plan’ for the next week (or month)!

Keep the following in mind:

  • Eat seasonal fruits and vegetables

  • Try to buy organic food

  • Support local farmer’s markets and eat local food

  • Eat a plant-rich diet (fruits and vegetables, whole grains, beans, peas, nuts, and lentils): Animal-based foods are associated with the highest greenhouse gas emissions.

  • Avoid wasting food (or use leftovers to make compost!)
